Welcome to the world of SupportSages. For us, the sysadmins from India, the land of saptharshis (Seven Sages) the word SAGE has got two meanings – System Administrator’s Guild & someone having wisdom that comes with age and experience.

Aristotle said, “… wisdom is a form of goodness, and is not scientific knowledge but another kind of cognition.” .

This blog is to share the knowledge we gain or have and spread the goodness we believe to have in ourselves. Please note that this blog is not official one and doesn’t signify the management view on any issues the authors may blog about. You are on your own. Sometimes the issues addressing in a post may be complicated enough to mess up your entire system and risk your data. Sometimes it will be a simple command to find the present working directory.
