About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring production systems, and ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations. You’ll work closely with developers, system administrators, and cloud architects to streamline software delivery and infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE).
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps best practices and improve deployment frequency.
- Automate configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Maintain security and compliance across environments through policies, IAM roles, and vulnerability management
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage version control workflows using Git and Git-based tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Contribute to infrastructure documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in AWS, Linux administration, and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Experience with security best practices and cost optimization in cloud environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS ECS, EKS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks and API Gateway setups.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Terraform Associate.
